On the morning September 26th four vehicles were severely damaged as well as buildings nearby in an arson attack in Terrace BC.
With a little investigation we realized the vehicles attacked belong to McElhanney a company with a large portfolio providing surveying, engineering, GIS & remote sensing, landscape architecture, environmental services across western Canada. Near Terrace, McElhanney is working on the controversial PRGT pipeline, which has seen resistance via occupations and blockades. Further south the company has used GIS data to help plan work for the controversial TMX pipeline. In north eastern BC, McElhanney has worked on providing data and plans for the expansion of LNG well sites and pipelines.
We stumbled across this information via local media’s republishing of RCMP reports. It seems very little information has been shared by the RCMP. They chose to not publish photos or exact details. This is surprising considering the scale of the attack. Perhaps they would like to keep this news quiet.

The Press Center of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) has issued a statement about the guerrillas’ resistance to the Turkish invasion of the Medya Defense Areas and the attacks by the Turkish army.
According to the statement, HPG and Free Women’s Units (YJA Star) guerrillas carried out at least seven actions against Turkish troops between 14 and 17 October. On the western front of the Zap region, an attempted advance by Turkish soldiers was stopped, and in Xakurke the guerrillas destroyed a military position. In Metîna, a combat helicopter was fired upon during an attack flight on the Şêlazê resistance area. In nearby Golka, the fighters also destroyed a position.
The HPG also reported on an action in Gever (Yüksekova) in the province of Colemêrg (Hakkari).
Dozens of air strikes on Medya Defense Areas
Writing about the attacks by the Turkish army during the period mentioned, the HPG said that the guerrilla tunnel systems in the Zap region were bombed at least five times with prohibited weapons.
In addition, the HPG recorded 39 air strikes by fighter planes and 23 attacks by helicopters in the past few days. The attacks were therefore directed against targets in Xakurke, Gare, Metîna and Zap. The Gare region was the hardest hit by air strikes by killer jets, with 16 in total. The most frequent helicopter attacks took place in Metîna.

On the night of October 2, three groups engaged in a coordinated attack against Flock Safety license plate readers/surveillance cameras in the Atlanta Metro Area. This action was inspired by the communique “From A Matter Of Principle To A Matter Of Tactics” posted to Scenes on July 27, 2024, to develop the tactical muscle of coordinated attacks as force multiplier. The city was divided into four quadrants, with each group selecting a quadrant. 23 cameras were disabled in total.
13 cameras were completely destroyed using various methods. Several were cut from poles and destroyed, either after the pole had been shaken down or the camera was pulled off by someone standing on another’s shoulders. Some (not all) Flock poles are two poles screwed together which can be unscrewed using T27 security bits easily acquired at hardware stores, so the entire top pole containing camera and solar panel is removed in seconds of ease!
10 cameras had their lenses spray-painted by someone standing on another’s shoulders. While this obviously does less economic and physical damage, it is quick and nearly silent. Pay close attention to how long it takes to clean up this work. Previously it has taken Flock up to a month to replace broken or missing cameras.
As long as there is the political will to surveil us anywhere and everywhere we turn, cameras will continue to proliferate. As long as they do, one must find new and creative ways to blind them.

In the early morning of Friday 11/10, an explosive device was placed in a police interrogation van, with the explosion causing damage mainly to the front of the vehicle.
