RLT Terrassement, based in Epiez-sur-Chiers (Meurthe-et-Moselle), a contractor working on the future Douzy solar park, was the victim of vandalism on Tuesday night. Shortly after midnight, five hooded individuals broke into the worksite and set fire to an excavator and compactor belonging to RLT Terrassement. Estimated damage: 150,000 euros.
“My boss and I are sure it’s the work of radical environmentalists. Solar is green, but you have to cut down trees. But burning machinery is green, isn’t it?” says the angry manager. A complaint has been lodged, and an investigation has been opened, entrusted to the Douzy gendarmerie brigade.
As for the worksite [to install 81,000 solar panels on 38 hectares of land, razing part of the forest], it’s at a standstill for the moment. It won’t start up again until next week, but not under any conditions. “The site will be secured, with guards watching over it day and night,” concludes Benjamin Rouyer, Managing Director of RLT Terrassement.
We typically prefer that actions speak for themselves, but perhaps a few words are due. In the face of renewed genocide and mass deportations, all that is left is what must be done. Taking up the task of disruption, sabotage, and attack is not something we do lightly. The people of Gaza have repeatedly called for mass student escalation. We’ve witnessed targeted deportations of politicized students, workers, and teachers with legal status; a wave of student protests repressed and occupations torn down, and paltry concessions rescinded by university admin.
We ask: what did a protest of over 500 students last spring at the Stallions accomplish? We stood and chanted as fellow students at UT were teargassed. Last week, the Party for Socialism and Liberation hosted a small protest of barely a few dozen. Then everyone went home. Held on the square, this event made front cover of the University Star alongside an opinion piece by the Star’s editorial board advocating “proper avenues” of “political expression.” They even dared to invoke the expelled San Marcos 10 in an effort to downplay a little graffiti. Why? The university can better control every aspect of the narrative if we allow them to dictate proper political expression.
Our detractors have labeled us vandals, criminals, outside agitators, domestic terrorists, radicals/extremists. Though these titles are certainly an honor, we remain your humble neighbors, colleagues, & classmates. Living in the heart of US imperialism necessitates actions that disrupt business as usual. We do not fear political repression, but instead a return to normalcy.
Some students have bemoaned the defacing of their “beautiful” campus. Fuck you lol. This university is complicit in funding Israeli genocide and actively collaborating with ICE against the will of its student population. It was already an extension of an active warzone; our political act simply reminded people of that. It is students who make this campus beautiful, because it is our campus.
Others pointed out the inconvenienced sanitation workers forced to take such art down. For the first time, students recognized the existence and working conditions of underpaid, primarily immigrant workers who lack union representation on this campus. But rather than lay those concerns at the feet of a, frankly overpaid, administration whose campus is expanding unsustainably, these students prefer to weaponize said workers against a political movement. How often has the student body taken it upon themselves to guarantee the survival of these workers or their families?
On Tuesday night [April 15] we punctured tires on 8 NYPD cars and sprayed “PIG” all over them at the 88th precinct right under their stupid noses. When the pigs are too complacent then collectively we are doing something wrong.
The 88th precinct is known for it’s tyrannical rule over both local community and new migrant neighbors. It famously collaborated with ICE during the 2020 George Floyd uprising by using ICE to guard their precinct building besieged by massive protests.
Five years later and where are we now? Every day another human being murdered in custody, through neglect or savage beatings. Robert Brooks and Messiah Nantwi. Five people have died at Rikers just this year. Two died in nyc holding cells just in the past month before even being arraigned.
Every day another neighbor disappeared into some far off prison, never to be seen again (look up CECOT). Every day another student kidnapped by ICE. Every day another community invaded by fascists demanding papers and hunting Black and Brown people for sport.
Every day another family incinerated by USA-made bombs in Palestine and Yemen.
When will it stop? We must come to a point where we realize that NOTHING WILL STOP if we don’t MAKE IT STOP. No amount of appealing to politicians, to cops, to institutions like Columbia, will help us. Let go of that, and we free ourselves.
The Empire must fall. Strike where you are, at whatever institution you can that upholds this whole stinking pile of dogshit. Every strike against the NYPD is a strike for communities both here and all over the world. May the strength of revolutionaries who have lived and died for liberation be with you.
Earlier this week, a group of activists vandalized a line of police vehicles near the Strategic Response Group’s Bronx headquarters. The SRG is a notorious NYPD unit, trained by “Israel” and responsible for the violent repression and daily brutalization of all New Yorkers; most notably including scores of Palestine solidarity protesters in the past 18 months and Black Lives Matter activists in 2020.
We slashed their tires, smashed their windows, and sprayed their vehicles’ insides with paint, making them virtually unusable. In isolation, this act of resistance won’t do much to stop the relentless onslaught of state violence and repression our communities are facing. Slogan born in the huge demonstrations of March 2023 for the state capitalist crime in Tempi.
On 26 January 2025 and 28 February 2025 respectively, hundreds of thousands of people demonstrated against the government of murderous anti-worker restructuring and Hellenic Train, a subsidiary of the Italian monopoly Ferrovie Dello Stato, which bears the main responsibility for the murder of 57 fellow human beings in Tempi on 28 February 2023.
The demonstrations and strikes are a contribution to the formation of our collective defence as a Class and at the same time, since they took place in a country that played an active role in the US-Zionist genocidal war in Palestine, a practical act of solidarity with the heroic Palestinian people, who, with gun in hand, are showing the way for the liberation of the peoples of the whole world.
In particular, the strike of 28 February was a response to the rivers of blood that are spilled every day in the labour sweatshops. A response to the unspeakable pain for our fellow workers, our brothers and sisters, our mothers and fathers, our sons and daughters, our friends and girlfriends, lost or crippled in the struggle for a living wage. A response to the relentless class warfare we live every day here.
The massacre of the working class in the workplace as a conscious policy of capital and the state apparatus
The figures for deaths at work, even those given by official state statistics, which do not record a large number of incidents (e.g. of migrants) or show deaths as pathological, are inexorable. In the last three years alone, over 600 workers have died and over 1000 have been seriously injured (amputations, permanent paralysis, severe respiratory and cardiac problems), while thousands of others have been injured in need of medical treatment (with all the multifaceted costs that this entails) in over 40,000 work ‘accidents’. These figures are much higher if we include the hundreds of deaths per year, according to estimates by independent international organisations, from diseases (cancers, cardiovascular diseases) related to unhealthy working conditions (e.g. permanent exposure to chemicals, exhaust fumes), which the Greek state does not even register as such, in violation of international guidelines.
The butchery of the working class in the workplace has a name: it is called class exploitation, the pursuit of maximum profit by capital, the extraction of surplus value. It is called employer terrorism, it is called state policy of strengthening the competitiveness of the labour market, it is called employer trade unionism. It is called memoranda, it is called a policy of reducing public debt, it is called the EU’s fiscal stability pact, it is called the Achtsioglou law, the Hatzidakis law, the Georgiadis law. It is called poverty, unemployment, extortion of survival.
The parliament is a mechanism of class domination. The ministers and deputy ministers, the general secretaries, the technocrats of the Association of Enterprises and Industries, the banks and the shipowners who staff the legislative committees for the drafting of anti-worker laws are well aware of the consequences of the laws they pass. They are fully aware that the abolition of collective labour agreements, compulsory unpaid overtime, six-day work, the slashing of heavy and unhealthy work, the linking of wages to productivity (minimum wage law), the increase in retirement thresholds, the virtual abolition of the labour inspectorate, the criminalisation of strikes and the liberalisation of dismissals, the abolition of basic safety standards, all lead with mathematical precision to an explosion in the number of workers’ deaths and injuries. But that is their job, their role, that is why they are in this position. To shield and reinforce the capitalists’ profitability with the blood of the working class : with the blood of construction workers, shipbuilders and dockers, with the blood of bicycle drivers and train and transport workers, with the blood of call centre and catering workers, with the blood of workers in industry and public works, with the blood of migrant farm workers.
This is precisely why its persons and structures have been in the crosshairs of the proletariat and the revolutionary movement throughout time. From the execution by urban guerrillas in the Nazi occupation of the fascist corrupt labour minister Kalyvas to the bloody battles of the building movement in the 1960s in front of it and the attacks on its structures during the Junta by anti-dictatorship organisations, and from its constant targeting in the post-war period by revolutionary organisations to its militant blockades by workers’ unions.

This company is a Greek company that has evolved and is making huge profits by exploiting the “most productive sector of the Greek economy”, tourism. With branches in all tourist areas and mainly the islands, it proves to us the lie of the ruling class that the development of tourism is good for all of us. They see the super profits of Greek and foreign capital, while we have a different picture.
For us, tourism is the 6-month season, gruelling 12-hour days, containers, “underwater services” and the exploitation of workers. For us, tourism is reflected in the murder of Antonis Kargiotis who was considered a refugee because he did not fit the profile of the rich white tourist. And of course, tourism means in our everyday life Airbnb, extremely expensive rents, a change in the structure of cities with the centres filled with hotels, shops and luxurious houses, while those who live and work here but do not fit the image built by capital are expelled to the suburbs. In two words, tourism means CLASS WAR.
A war that goes hand in hand with the already harsh social war that has been raging in recent years with the right-wing government. In this war we have taken a clear position. We oppose capital, both Greek and foreign. We sabotage the “tourism machine with all means”. P.S. As these lines were being written, we learned of another murder of a worker. A 59-year-old cleaner was murdered in the hotel she worked at in Santorini island . Our attack is dedicated to her as well as to all the anonymous victims of capital.
Since September, a strange phenomenon has hit the streets of the Deux-Sèvres prefecture: about once a month, a vehicle from Elon Musk’s factories catches fire. “Libé” followed the pyromaniac’s footsteps until he was found [A Libé writer posted an ad about Indy Nantes and the compas were kind enough to reply; NdAtt.]
The thick smoke from Ivana’s electronic cigarette crashes against the window of her Tesla. “When I park it now, I choose a place where there’s a lot of traffic and cameras,” explains the twenty-something. In Niort (Deux-Sèvres), where this saleswoman works, a strange phenomenon has been roaming the streets since September. Faced with these serial fires, the hypothesis of an anti-Musk action is the first to be considered. Demonstrations, scratched vehicles, burning dealerships… In recent times, the damage done to the billionaire’s brand has been mounting as a result of the antics of its big boss. Especially since the Nazi salute by Trump’s right-hand man in January. Support for the far right and outright cuts in US administrations are, moreover, one of the explanations for Tesla’s 13% drop in sales in the first quarter of 2025 compared with the same period last year, and the collapse of the Austin-based brand’s share price by more than half since its record high on December 17, 2024. But in the case of Niort, doubt still hangs in the air: is the richest man in the world the target of the perpetrator, who is still wanted?
For a start, the dates don’t coincide: the first fires took place long before the big boss’s controversial gesture. Secondly, in addition to the dozen or so burnt-out Teslas, at least two luxury vehicles were also targeted. A Porsche and an Aston Martin. “The base has been sawn off”: an electricity pylon collapses in the Loiret region France3, April 2, 2025
Just imagine the violence of the impact. A pylon, weighing several dozen tons, crashing to the ground. A very rare incident, but it happened on Tuesday April 1 at around 6 p.m., in the commune of Malesherbois, near Pithiviers.
The kind of “April fool’s joke” the grid operator could have done without. On Wednesday, some twenty technicians from Réseau de Transport d’Electricité (RTE) were on site to repair the pylon. The gendarmes were also on hand to make observations. RTE suspects “vandalism: the wind is not the explanation. The base of the pylon was sawn off”.
However, there was no power cut. “When it fell, the safety system was activated, cutting off the electricity and redirecting it to another network”, explains the company. The line is a high-voltage line, i.e. carrying a minimum current of 225,000 volts.
A security perimeter was set up within a 500-meter radius of the pylon. A complaint has been lodged and an investigation launched.

31/10/24 will remain forever engraved in our hearts, it will be a constant reminder of the reasons we are fighting for. On that day, in Arkadias Street, in Ampelokipi, an explosion occurs following the processing of explosives, with the tragic consequence of the death of the anarchist guerrilla Kyriakos Xymitiris and the serious injury of the anarchist Marianna M.
Marianna is transferred to Evangelismos Hospital with multiple injuries and a haematoma in her head. The anti-terrorist gang don’t miss an opportunity to take a blood sample from her, as long as she hasn’t fully regained consciousness. In the following days, a horror show begins inside the hospital, with her comrade isolated, her privacy violated and the interrogator herself pressuring her to testify, while she was not yet in a position to talk. The climate of revenge culminates with her transfer to prison on 15/11, just one day after undergoing surgery. From then on, imprisoned in Korydallos women’s prison, she is faced with miserable sanitary conditions and total lack of medical care. These conditions constitute a form of torture that shows the eternal hatred that the state has for every captured and oppressed activist. Marianna has not been given a CT brain scan to monitor the haematoma during the months she has been held in prison, with her dizziness constantly worsening. On the contrary, she has been informed by the prison neurologist that unless she has an epileptic seizure, she will not go to hospital.
The health of her comrade Dimitra, who is accused in the same case and was remanded in custody a few days after the explosion, is also being treated the same way. Dimitra developed severe rashes and itching, with doctors administering sedatives to her for two months, without any examination, and attributing her symptoms to psychological factors. When Marianna also developed similar symptoms, they decided that it was scabies and placed them in isolation.
On 29/03, Dimitra’s health deteriorates and she is transferred to Korydallos Hospital, where the doctor in charge tells her characteristically, “For us, you are just numbers.” However, Dimitra does not succumb to the psychological warfare and mockery of the doctors and demands her transfer to the hospital in Nikaia that is in charge of the situation. The EOM, in order to intensify her torture, subjects her to a dermatological and gynecological examination by the doctors inside the transport van under the presence and gaze of the cops.
The above is something more than expected when we talk about the conditions of detention in Greek prisons. Korydallos “Agios Pavlos” hospital has been described as hell due to the miserable conditions it is in and the deaths it has caused…
