HPG Pays Tribute to Guerrillas Serxwebûn Serhed and Rizgar Çavreş

The Press Center of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) has published information on the identities of the fallen guerrillas Serxwebûn Serhed and Rizgar Çavreş. The two HPG guerrillas died last Friday in the “Şehîd Helmet Dêreluk” operation against Turkish occupation forces in the Girê Amêdî resistance area in the Zap region of South Kurdistan. The HPG had already reported on their death on 14 January, but only gave their first names.

The HPG underlined that the operation, in which the Turkish army suffered heavy losses, “has determined the battle line for the current year. Guerrillas Serxwebûn and Rizgar would have overcome all difficulties and made the impossible possible, thus dealing a severe blow to the occupiers. Their practice has proven that a life according to apoist standards, military discipline, revolutionary seriousness, willingness to sacrifice and determination are the key to success.”

The HPG added: “The families of our comrades Serxwebûn and Rizgar and the Kurdish people can be infinitely proud of them. They fought with sacrifice and unreservedly and fell as heroes so that their people could live in a free country.”

PFLP Statement on American Colonial Scheme for Palestinian “Statehood”

Proposals for the “establishment of a demilitarized Palestinian state” are a new American plan to liquidate the cause.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirmed that the proposals of the war criminal, American President Joe Biden regarding the “establishment of a demilitarized Palestinian state” are a new American plan to liquidate the Palestinian cause and an attempt to rescue the zionist entity from the quagmire of defeat it is mired in amidst the existential problems that haunt it.

The American administration is an enemy and partnered with the zionist entity in its aggression and genocidal war on the Palestinian people. Our people view any plans or ideas presented by this criminal administration as part of the conspiracies targeting the Palestinian cause, and the clear support for the zionist entity at all levels.

Any proposals for a “demilitarized state” have a clear and obvious goal: the total end of the Palestinian cause, which goes beyond even international legality resolutions despite their flaws and shortcomings, leaving our people as easy prey for occupation, stripping them of sovereignty, imposing conditions of surrender, depriving them of their basic rights and means of life, keeping them under a suffocating siege, and turning this state into a large ghetto where the zionist occupation can commit the most atrocious crimes of genocide, ethnic cleansing, settlement, massacres, and theft of the Palestinian people’s resources and natural wealth.

The American positions, hostile to our people and their rights, manifest in their ugliest form in this dubious plan, revealing the double standards and hypocrisy. How can our people accept this grotesque “demilitarized” state when the zionist entity possesses the most powerful internationally banned weapons, including nuclear ones?!

The Front affirms that the Palestinian people alone will decide their destiny and that neither the American administration nor any other oppressive force in the world can impose any surrender solutions on them. Our people now possess the elements and leverage to impose their will on everyone.

The battle of Al-Aqsa Flood has created a new phase in favor of the Palestinian cause, capable of defeating and thwarting any dubious plans or ideas, armed with our people’s legendary steadfastness on the ground, the bravery of the resistance, unprecedented international sympathy, the fall of the zionist narrative in the face of the successful Palestinian narrative and injustice, and the exposure and disgrace of the falsity of the Western system.

The Front warns the [Palestinian] Authority or any Palestinian or Arab entity against dealing or aligning with this rejected and suspicious American plan, affirming that the Palestinian people are determined to reclaim their full rights by continuing the resistance until achieving their strategic dream of establishing their state on all Palestinian national soil with its capital as Al-Quds, against the will of the occupation and the American administration.

Philippines: Guerrilla Peace Talks Resume With Government

The Philippine government and the New People’s Army (NPA), the military wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), will resume peace talks for the first time in six years, the two sides and the facilitator, Norway, announced on Tuesday.
“The parties agree on a peaceful and principled resolution of the armed conflict,” the two sides said in a joint statement, adding that the peace talks would address “deep-rooted socio-economic and political grievances.”
If the negotiations are successful, the Maoists will end their armed struggle and transform into a political movement, according to Norway, which has mediated the island nation’s peace process for the past two decades.
Despite this progress, the government did not announce an immediate ceasefire and said counter-guerrilla operations would continue.

Gaza 2023 — High-Tech War Revisited

Amid the present fateful developments in Palestine, it is worth turning back to an article of December 2006 by Jacob Levich[1], “A Counter-Revolution in Military Affairs? Notes on US High-Tech Warfare” (at https://rupe-india.org/old-site/42/rma.html; re-published here). It has proved remarkably prescient.

The article examined the United States’s ‘Revolution in Military Affairs’ (RMA),

a new system of warfare that was said to combine innovative battlefield tactics with high-tech weaponry, networked communications, and sophisticated surveillance technology…. ‘Wired’ or ‘postmodern’ warfare, it was widely claimed, would transform the 21st-century battlefield and assure American supremacy for generations to come.

Levich pointed out that so-called ‘precision munitions’ failed to reduce civilian casualties (they actually increased them). However, this was not of such concern for the US and its allies such as Israel; the greater concern was that these weapons were ineffective in quelling guerrilla resistance. This was so particularly in Lebanon:

During the invasion of Lebanon, Hezbollah fighters were able to counter Israel’s US-supplied smart bombs using classic guerilla tactics, digging in (a network of reinforced underground bunkers consistently thwarted precision weapons) or blending into the population as circumstances required. Nor were Israel’s high-tech targeting systems effective in locating small, easily portable weapons like Hezbollah’s Katyusha rockets….

… [A] rough evaluation of the bunker buster’s performance could be derived from the IDF’s 2006 attack on Lebanon. In July, the US rushed 100 bunker busters to Israel as part of an effort to kill Hassan Nasrallah and the rest of Hezbollah’s leadership. The assassination targets, concealed to a depth of 40 meters in a network of hardened bunkers, emerged unscathed.

He argued that the construction and sustenance of such a network required popular support and involvement:

The tactics that defeated Israel’s high-tech munitions — construction of elaborate underground command centers and hardened missile sites throughout the country, lightning transfers of armaments and fighters in the face of Israeli bombardment, even the fighters’ ability to melt at will into the civilian population — required the sympathy and coordinated assistance of the people, often over years of painstaking preparation.

Two Paramilitaries Killed in Naxalite Ambushes in India

The explosion of an IED launched by Maoists killed a paramilitary of the Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) and injured two others while a squad of the paramilitary forces carried out an anti-maoist operation in the state of Jharkhand, this Friday. The ambush took place around 2:30 p.m. when a CRPF detachment, accompanied by members of other security forces, was raiding in a forest area of the West Singhbhum District.

An ambush of the same type caused the death of an Indo Tibetan Border Police paramilitaries (ITBP). The explosion struck the escort of an electoral convoy near the village of Bader Gobra, in the district of Bindranawagarh, in the Gariaband district.

The new Zapatista system is explained!

First. – The main base, which is not only where autonomy is sustained, also without which the other structures cannot function, is the Local Autonomous Government , GAL .

 

There is a GAL in each community where Zapatista support bases live. The Zapatista GAL are the core of all autonomy. When they so determine, the Collective of Autonomous Governments calls an assembly of the authorities of each community. Here the plans and needs of Health, Education, Agroecology, Justice, Commerce, and those that are needed are proposed, discussed and approved or rejected. At the CGAZ level there are the coordinators of each area. They are not authorities. Their job is to ensure that the work requested by the GAL or that is deemed necessary for community life is carried out. Such as, for example: preventive medicine and vaccination campaigns, campaigns for endemic diseases, courses and specialized training (such as laboratory technicians, , traditional festivities, etc. Each region or CGAZ has its directors, who are the ones who call assemblies if there is an urgent problem or one that affects several communities.cThat is to say, where before there were 12 Good Government Boards, now there will be hundreds.

Maoist Guerrillas Execute Three Police Informers in India

Communist Party of India (Maoist) guerrillas executed three villagers who worked as police informers in Kanker district of Bastar region (Chhattisgarh state) on Thursday, hours before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the region.

The guerrillas left behind a document exposing that the three men formed a network informing the anti-Maoist special force C60 of the Maharashtra police. Prime Minister Modi will deliver a speech in Kanker, Chhattisgarh, where the assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 7 and 17.

Fourth Part and First Approach Alert. Several Necessary Deaths. – Zapatistas

We inform you of the following:

FIRST. – A few months ago, after a long and profound critical and self-critical analysis, and after consulting all the Zapatista towns, it was decided to disappear the Zapatista Rebel Autonomous Municipalities (MAREZ) and the Good Government Juntas.

SECOND. – All seals, letterheads, positions, representations and agreements with the name of any MAREZ or any of the Good Government Juntas are invalid from this moment on. No person can present themselves as a member, authority or representative of any MAREZ or Good Government Junta. The agreements held before this date, with Non-Governmental Organizations, social organizations, collectives, solidarity groups and instances in Mexico and the world are maintained until their expiration, but new agreements cannot be made with these bodies of Zapatista autonomy, for the simple reason that they no longer exist.

THIRD. – The Caracoles remain, but they will remain closed to the outside world until further notice.

FOURTH. – We will tell you the reasons and process by which this decision was made little by little in the following texts. I can only tell you that this evaluation, in its final phase, began about 3 years ago. We will also explain to you what the new structure of Zapatista autonomy is like and how it has been developing.

All that, and more things, will appear at the right time.

FIFTH. – We inform you that we will hold a celebration to mark the 30th anniversary of the beginning of the war against oblivion. This, in the months of December 2023 and January 2024. All people who signed the “Declaration for Life” are invited.

However, it is our duty, while inviting you, to discourage you. Contrary to what the official press, self-proclaimed cool-progre-chill, reports and misinforms, the main cities of the southeastern Mexican state of Chiapas are in complete chaos. The municipal presidencies are occupied by what we call “legal hitmen” or “Disorganized Crime.” There are blockades, assaults, kidnappings, “cobro de piso”, forced recruitment, shootings. This is the effect of the protection of the state government and the dispute over the political charges that is in process. What is being confronted are not political proposals, but rather criminal societies.

So, of course we tell you that, unlike other years, it is not safe.

San Cristóbal de las Casas, Comitán, Las Margaritas and Palenque, to mention some municipal seats, are in the hands of one of the disorganized crime cartels and in dispute with another. This is confirmed by the so-called hotel, tourism, restaurant and service industries. Those who work in these places know this and have not reported it because they are threatened and, furthermore, because they know that any request is useless, because the state and municipal authorities are the ones who commit crimes and know no limit in the robbery they are doing.

In rural communities the problem is even more serious. This is what is being shouted by those who live in all the regions of Chiapas, particularly in the entire border strip with Guatemala.

What is read, heard and seen in the majority of local and national media is just a bad and shameless echo of the state government’s social networks. The truth is that the official authorities are the problem. Yes, like in the rest of the country.

Federal, state and local military and police forces are not in Chiapas to protect the civilian population. They have the sole purpose of stopping migration. That is the order that came from the North American government. As is their way, they have turned migration into a business. Human trafficking is a business of the authorities who, through extortion, kidnapping and buying and selling of migrants, shamelessly enrich themselves.

So, we do not advise you to come. Unless, of course, you organize yourselves very well to do so.

So, although we are not waiting for you, we are inviting you. The tentative dates of the commemorations are between December 23, 2023 and January 7, 2024, the central celebration being December 30-31 and January 1-2. We will tell you the place afterwards. That is to say, we do want you to come, although we don’t recommend it.

Even if you don’t arrive, don’t worry. We will still send you photos and videos.

Explosive Attack Against Business Owned by Turkish Fascist Murat Şahin in Zurich, Switzerland

Last night (2.11.2023) we blew up the front door of the Netto store in Schlieren, Zurich. The store belongs to Falken GmbH or Murat Şahin. Murat Şahin is the long-standing head of UID (Union of International Democrats, a Turkish Nationalist NGO) Switzerland, a central organ of the AKP’s European operations. In the past, he has repeatedly organized Swiss appearances by high-ranking members of Erdogan’s palace and he is in and out of the Turkish consulate in Zurich. Let’s attack the fascists where we find them!

In recent weeks, the Turkish war policy of the fascist AKP-MHP regime against Rojava has explicitly targeted civilian infrastructure. Among other places, electricity plants and the water supply were bombed – with the explicit consent of US imperialism. What secures the lives of all was destroyed by Turkish air strikes. Let’s not forget that this is happening against the backdrop of a long-standing blockade against Rojava, which has been aiming at cutting off the people (and thus the basis of the revolutionary process). Let’s not forget that the weekly murderous drone strikes against cadres of the movement, as well as against journalists and representatives of the political structures there, are part of everyday warfare in Rojava. Let’s not forget how in the free Kurdish mountains of northern Iraq the Turkish state (with the support of the corrupt Barzani regime) is trying to destroy the guerrillas with barbaric means such as poison gas, because they are the hearts and minds of the freedom movement.

Let’s not forget any of this. Let’s keep pace with the Turkish war against Rojava and against the Kurdish freedom movement by attacking on many levels in the different phases of the war, but never pausing, never giving up the initiative. Just as the comrades of the HPG (People’s Defence Forces, military wing of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party / PKK) did, for example, when they mercilessly demonstrated to the fascist regime on the day of the opening of parliament in Ankara that they could be attacked even in the lion’s den*. No matter how many obstacles lie ahead of us, the fight for freedom seeks and finds ways to put the oppressors in their place and thus fan the flames of hope again and again. Flames that are also fanned by other armed forces, such as those of the HBDH (Peoples’ United Revolutionary Movement) in Turkey, when the factories and vehicles of AKP politicians are set on fire.

This line of not allowing the fascist forces of the AKP-MHP regime, the current main enemy of the revolutionary movement in Turkey and Kurdistan, a quiet hinterland, but rather hounding, chasing and attacking them, so that a permanent look over the shoulder becomes their companion, is a line that we can continue seamlessly here. We know well enough how important organized support from the Turkish diaspora in Western Europe is for the survival of the regime in Ankara, be it in the mobilization of reactionary masses or in the financial support of the palace. Let’s not allow them a quiet hinterland, let’s increase their unease, let’s sow insecurity within their ranks. And let’s honor the memory of those many comrades-in-arms who fell on the road to liberation. Joint Statement from Resistance Forces in Palestine

Statement issued by the Palestinian Forces on 10/28/23: Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command.

The five Palestinian powers held a leadership meeting, in Beirut, today October 28th, 2023, to discuss the course of the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle with the zionist enemy and its brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip.

In their statement, the five powers saluted the martyrs of our Palestinian people and our steadfast and proud people in the Gaza Strip who are facing an organized campaign of extermination, stressing that they are the people of pride, dignity and steadfastness and that they are the people of victory who are loyal to their cause and their homelad, and (the Palestinian forces) pledged to them to continue on the path of resistance until victory is achieved over the zionist enemy.
