Guerrilla Ambush against the Police in Philippines

Guerrilla fighters of the New People’s Army set up an ambush in which a corporal from the Calatrava police station was killed and two other policemen, a captain and a corporal, were wounded. The ambush, triggered by an IED explosion as a vehicle carrying ten police officers passed, was set up on August 9 in Barangay Minapasok, Negros Occidental.

The guerrillas recovered four assault rifles, a.45-caliber pistol before stopping. The guerrillas also shot dead two police informers. They had served as guides in combat operations and ensured the reconnaissance of suspected NPA encampments, as well as the monitoring of civilians arbitrarily accused of being members or sympathizers of the guerrilla insurgency.

Hamburg, Germany: For Nahel and all the others. Private car of cop set on fire

A reformist view of the police as an organ of power is not only naive but also dangerous. Continuous killings by the pigs in uniform are proof that neither internal anti-racist programs nor public debate are able to keep the trigger-happy monsters in check and prevent the next murder. When we hear about the execution of a 19 year old who was riddled with 34 bullets by several cops and miraculously survived paraplegic, our hatred once again rises to immeasurable levels and we have to do something.

Let them be afraid on their patrols through the neighborhoods of the marginalized. They should be afraid at their desks when they arrogantly look at the human filth outside their windows. They are supposed to be afraid when they lie in their little beds at night dreaming of action against evil.

Ten Comrades Arrested in Police Operation Against Anarchist Newspaper in Italy

On August 8, at dawn, the public prosecutor’s office of Genoa and the Digos (antiterrorist police) of La Spezia led yet another operation of repression against the anarchist movement. Ten anarchist comrades are accused in this investigation, including five comrades from Carrara, for whom the prosecutor initially asked for detention. In addition to searches in the homes, the Anarchist Cultural Circle “Gogliardo Fiaschi”, the historic center of anarchists in Carrara, has been the subject of a descent. Magazines, books, leaflets, posters and computer supplies have been seized. The preliminary investigation judge has decided on four residential assignments with all restrictions, five house arrests with return to prison at night. One comrade is not subject to any restriction. Luigi, one of the four residential comrades had no official residence: he was therefore transferred to the Spezia prison.

The comrades are accused of subversive association for purposes of terrorism (art. 270 bis of the penal code) and incentive to commit a crime (article 424 of the penal code) aggravated by the objective of terrorism, with regard to the publication, dissemination and use of information on terrorism, in connection with the publication, from 2020, of the internationalist bimonthly anarchist “Bezmotivny”, as well as to attack on the honor and prestige of the President of the Republic, and clandestine printing. To write to Luigi: Luigi Palli / Casa Circondariale di la Spezia / Piazza G. Falcone e P. Borsllino n. 1/19125 La Spezia (SP) / Italy

Chile: Arson attack on Red bus in Estación Central in solidarity with political prisoners

In the early morning of Monday, July 31, a group of people who boarded as passengers, intimidated the driver, got off the other passengers and sprayed benzine to set fire to a Red bus on Las Rejas Avenue, next to Lo Errazuriz Park.

According to the Minister of Transportation Juan Carlos Muñozs, “this is a matter of investigation, however, preliminary information indicates that it is likely to have been intentional. Of course, we find this much more than regrettable, it is condemnable”.

Munich (Germany): one relay antenna less

Munich , one relay antenna less

Around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday night, July 16, a relay antenna was set on fire in Forstenrieder Park, near the town of Pullach (a southern suburb of Munich). It was at this time that the cell phone operator lost all signal, before sending a team to the site the following day at around 1pm (a Sunday), who could only observe that its installation had been burnt down during the night before the fire extinguished itself, without however completely destroying the tower.

The authorities, for their part, obviously do not presume a technical fault – the familiar police theory of the self-combustion of relay antennas is now a bit forced – but rather a “crime affecting State Security”, leading them to entrust the investigation to the K43 police station (“far-left political criminality”).

All the more so since another telephone antenna went up in smoke at the beginning of June in the east of the city, and an intensification of attacks seems to have been taking place in Munich over the last few months, ranging from fiber optics to data cables along bridges, and including the burning of electric cars (municipally owned, or not) and luxury cars (two BMW X5s up in smoke at a dealership on Landsberger Straße on July 10, as part of the Switch off the system campaign).

Berlin (Germany): the cars of screws under fire

Berlin:the cars of screws under fire

Around 2:30 a.m. on Friday night, July 1, several cars once again went up in smoke in front of Moabit prison. This time, two cars and a van went up in flames on Alt-Moabit Street, but Berlin police deplore the fact that “at irregular intervals, cars parked opposite Moabit prison catch fire, including several belonging to prison employees”.

Call for International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners 2023 // 23 – 30 August

The world is on fire. The climate crisis is getting worse and worse. Instead of masks against Covid-19, people now have to wear masks against smoke from forest fires. At the same time huge areas getting flooded due to heavy rain caused by the ongoing pollution of the environment. Nothing of that is caused by individual decisions of the people. It is not cause by buying the wrong product in the supermarket. It is caused by the systematic exploitation of nature and humanity. Governments and big corporations are the ones steering us into a climate catastrophe that, at this point, seems to be unstoppable.
Governments and big corporations that created a world where wealthy people are more important than others. This was especially visible while the global media had nothing better to do than talking for 5 days about a missing submarine filled with 5 rich people, while hundreds of others are dying in the mediterranean sea during their try to get chances for a better life.

Extreme right, conservative and authoritarian politics are increasing all around the world. Some use it to start Wars and kill thousands of people, some build fences and guard what they think is their property and others use it to arm up in the digital world. Surveillance is increased and the states are leaping more and more into our private spaces, analyzing our private conversations and collecting data about us with a depth of detail we could never have imagined. The tools of the states to crush resistance, crush even the idea of fighting the system, are sharpened with every minute. Many anarchists, anti-authoritarians, environmental activists, and antifascist around the world face repression because acting anonymous in a digitalized world is as difficult as never before.

With all the obstacles put into our way during the struggle for a better world, anarchist ideas and values remain important. In times of crisis methods of collective organizing, mutual aid and the principle of solidarity start to shine. The system will fall apart and we should get ready to take back a world that was stolen by companies, yacht owners and the war industry. A world that was meant for everyone. And while our friends are put behind bars and states try to hide them in the darkest corners of their prisons, we will not hold still but fight till they are free again.

Let’s break out together!
That is why we are calling again for International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners. Do some action of solidarity! Write letters, organize speeches or film screenings, make our comrades visible on the streets with a banner drop or a graffiti and let them show that they are in our hearts and that we are fighting together.

Let’s remember those who fought against this injustice and payed with their lives.
No one is free, till all are free!
