Nationwide Subsidiary Attacked in San Francisco

London,UK: Solidarity Action with Antifascists in Greece.

London Solidarity Action with Antifascists in Greece.

Fascists across Europe scheduled a rally on November the 1st in Athens, Greece to commemorate a decade since the fatal shooting of two Golden Dawn members. In response to this, a dynamic antifascist front called for a counter-demo with the aim of cancelling their gathering. Unsurprisingly, the Greek cops – loyal to their fascist, murderous ideology and networks- issued a ban to all related demos.

On the day, they aided the fash in any way possible: by chasing, battering, harassing and arresting comrades from the large crowd of antifascists who showed up to defend their neighborhoods a d communities.

As a minimum act of solidarity with our comrades in Athens, antifascists from various locations gathered in Wood Green (North London), put up a banner outside an entertainment complex , leafleted and spoke to passers- by and working people of the area.

Participant Reflections on Block Cop City

Introduction

Make no mistake. Block Cop City was a defeat. Nobody gained entry to the site, in spite of what organizers said. Construction on the project, while halted for two days, continues today. The state used its power to ensure that the construction site would be safe.

But it wasn’t a failure. It wasn’t crushed. The resistance continues. We are closer to achieving our long term goals, in spite of that particular short term goal not being reached. Because of some good planning, organizing, and discipline, there were no injuries and only one arrest. We live to fight another day. The Jail support resources aren’t overstretched. And most importantly, a better future was envisaged.

Whether it was the plan of the organizers or in spite of the organizers, a huge number of fresh-faced, new antifascists who came to Atlanta to participate in this action now have some experience and some tools available to them to take more radical action safely at home. The effects of this will spread across the country.

Those who answered the call and came left with experience and training in how to organize as affinity groups, come to group consensus, and imagine alternate structures of power and decision making. While the day’s objective wasn’t achieved, we can use the lessons from the weekend to build stronger resistance. The state has declared war on us. The more organized we are, the better we can fight back.

NYC: REPORT FROM 11/9 WRITERS BLOC ACTION AGAINST NYT

A ringing gong signaled a breakaway from the thousands-strong rally (swelled by student walkouts earlier in the day) on the steps of Manhattan’s iconic public library to the offices of the failing New York Times.

A sizable crowd gathered outside in support of those who had already established themselves in the plate glass lobby, cacophanously reciting from a freshly printed newspaper titled THE NEW YORK WAR CRIMES: listing the names of murdered Palestinian journalists and youth (beginning at age 0 and reaching 17) reappropriating the authoritative papers’ manner of eulogizing mass death, usually reserved for the citizens of empire. The occupiers read their names aloud and also individually called out the members of the editorial board – “Blood on your hands!” The self-published WAR CRIMES, printed by the thousands, covered the floor and, when held up, protected the crowd from surveillance.

For an action of writers, the crowd outside kept the words succinct:

A chant of “NYPD / IDF / Both of them mean fucking death!”

A litany of names of the dead

A banner reading simply: Lies

A strained voice still mustering Allahu Akbar!

Before long, the neighboring Starbucks and an NYPD vehicle became canvases for the scribes. That vehicle lost its back window and the air from its tires in an opportune moment. Pure fucking poetry!

Once the cue was taken, others swiftly followed suit. Another NYPD van was spotted around the corner from the first, also emblazoned with the words “Free Gaza”

An unaffiliated passerby enjoying an evening walk could be seen retrieving a souvenir from the shattered back window (with one hand, and reportedly a bottle of henny in the other.)

Scrawls illuminated the bond between the IDF and NYPD, likening both to the KKK, the American epitome of white supremacist terror. Semi-civilian military forces, which train in tandem, the IDF and the NYPD, kill with impunity, abet mass incarceration, and enforce strategies of ghettoization which the Nazis admired in the US and which Israel now applies to Palestinians through forceful cognitive dissonance.

These actions were sparked and rooted in inexpressible grief and rage. Those lost were entire universes, not to be calculated, measured, or forgotten.

Breaking away from a larger demonstration, with its slow marching in circles, ruptured the expected formula of protest, injecting the crowd with confidence, a slight step ahead of the police. Perhaps in part to avoid the optics of censorship, no arrests were made.

After weeks of desensitized brutality, feelings of futility and complicity here in the belly of the beast, we welcomed this opportunity for another type of action. Armed with imagination, we find possibility.  May it grow!

Action Against Genocide Manufacturers in Mpls/Stp metro

For 75+ years western powers namely AmeriKa and Britain have funded, supported, and actively participated in genocidal settler colonialism on the land called Palestine and against the Palestinian peoples. The Palestinian people have always fought against the destruction of their land. This is clear historically with groups like the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PLFP) and the anti colonial actions of Leila Khalid. As well as the first, second, and knife intifada.

These acts of resistance have continued into this decade. The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade and the Lion Den among many others in the West Bank continue to resist “Israeli” and western occupation. We understand the acts of October 7th to be anti colonial acts of defiance and resistance—the Al-Aqsa flood.

There are many corporations funding and supplying the genocide now. Instead of focusing on the almost total Minnesota governmental support of the genocide—including Walz, Frey, Melvin Carter, Amy Klobachar, Ilan Omar etc— we want to single out those manufacturing in death and destruction: Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, and General Dynamic.
This is not an exhausted list. If you feel so called there are numerous military recruiting offices in the twin cities metro area.

A Reportback from Block Cop City, November 13th

Verily, hearken! Ye noble souls, to a chronicle of strange valour and uncanny strif unfurling in the realmes of Atlanta faire, where discordant murmures and otherworldlie clashes paint a scene akin to battles fought ‘twixt realms beyonde ken.

In Atlanta’s domain, wher the sunne’s light doth cast an eerye glow, a bande, numbering more than foure hundred, embarkèd upon the thorowfares. Their voices akin to a tempest, opposing the eerie construct named Atlanta Public Safety Training Center. ‘Halt Cop City!’ they thunderèd, invoking the spectral memory of Tortuguita, lost to enigmatik forces in bygone days.

Clad in masks, goggles, and curious garb shielding against tearful vapors, undaunted they trodd, presenting an uncanny sight to the custodians of law. A tumult arose as officers, in riotous array, repellèd their advance with tearful vapors and resounding thunders, a dissonance echoing from otherworldly spheres.

Yet within the heartes of these marchers, the flame of defiance flickerèd undiminisht. Some, swathed in protective sheaths, hurlèd canisters of mysterious essence against their oppressors. Amidst clamor and perplexing clashes, the spirit of otherworldlie rebellion soared.

Gregory Todd, a local of peculiar insight, perceivèd the need for safetie yet echoèd the unearthly concerns of dissenters, pondering the strange turmoil within the community’s realm. ‘Safetie remains paramount,’ he declared, contemplatyng the cryptic sanctitie of our abodes in these bizarre times.

Banner Drops in Ypsilanti & Ann Arbor in Solidarity with Stop Cop City

A banner hanging from a roof in downtown Ann Arbor which reads "Free Palestine, Stop Cop City"

Last night we dropped a banner in downtown Ann Arbor reading “Free Palestine, Stop Cop City” in solidarity with the Block Cop City Week of Action and with Palestinians everywhere.

The genocide of Palestinians is directly supported by the Atlanta Police Foundation and all cops defending it. These two struggles are connected. The unmitigated violence of Cop City as well as the IDF will be brought “home” to be used against us if the need arises. No to settler colonialism, no to cop city!
A black flag on a police monument flagpole which reads "ACAB"
We also improved a local police monument by hoisting a black flag reading “ACAB” in place of some thin blue line trash, to make them mad and make us laugh.

Love and rage to everyone throwing down to stop cop city, and to everyone fighting for life against domination.

“Alameda County” Courthouse Attacked for Palestinian Martyrs

“It is never possible to balance liberatory violence with the conditions of struggle. The process of liberation is excessive by nature. In the direction of overabundance or in that of deficiency. Where have we ever seen a popular insurrection hit the bullseye, clearly distinguishing the enemies to kill? It is a blow of the tiger’s claws that rips and does not distinguish.” Alfredo Bonanno

We smashed seven windows at the “alameda county” courthouse tonight. This attack is for the martyrs of Palestine. Every “american” soldier, cop, court, and prison is a target. Freedom to all Palestinian prisoners! Freedom to all prisoners of “america!” Put the sword against the sword! Let the olive branch fall, long live the hammer! Bring the war home! Death to “israel!” Death to “america!”

Thanos Hatziangelou: Revenge for the Massacre of the Four Comrades from the Popular Front

I watched the light fade and you walk away. I was angry that the distance was getting longer. I thought you were leaving me. And yet you were smiling. You were always smiling. Then I realized that I’m the one left behind. And you were smiling. Your eyes were full of colors and flowers bloomed in your outstretched hands. Now there’s no more light. “Let them believe that darkness has won” you whispered to me. As much as I am afraid, I envy you that you are now free. We have won…

It is now that the prison wires become a noose around your neck and choke you. It is when every tear that flows, a tear of rage and pride, foreshadows the storms to come. It is the brutality of the hellholes that deprives you even of the right to mourn the loss of your comrades. It is that even words sound with difficulty, for words are poor to describe the immortality of resistance.

On October 30th, revolutionaries Harika Kızılkaya, Burak Ağarmış, Özkan Güzel and Erdoğan Çakır were murdered at the Greek-Turkish border by the uniformed AKP fascists. The four comrades, who honoured their status of revolutionary-communists to the end, fell fighting for the peoples’ justice and the struggle against fascism and imperialism.

Having had the honour of sharing common moments of resistance with comrades Harika and Burak, if there is one thing I remember, it is that every meeting, every common step in the struggle, every gesture full of ethics, consistency and determination was full of smiles that, without any regret, were tearing down the prison. Today, when death harvests like a frontier trying to divide us, whoever carries within themselves the revolutionary duty of the need for resistance, carries within themselves each one of them. In this society of dead spectators, the physical death of our comrades is the pathway to immortality.

We honour the loss of those who dedicated their lives to the struggle against fascism and imperialism, building the anti-imperialist urban warfare in the centres of capital.

With a smile and a raised fist we shout Harika Kızılkaya, Burak Ağarmış, Özkan Güzel and Erdoğan Çakır, IMMORTAL!

Translator’s note: The militants from Turkey, Harika Kızılkaya, Burak Agarmış, Özkan Güzel and Erdoğan Çakır were Kurdish political refugees expelled by the Erdogan regime. Harika and Burak became known from the trial of the 11 Turkish fighters, after they were initially convicted by the Greek judiciary in the first instance for membership of a terrorist organisation, until they were acquitted by the Court of Appeal, a decision which was eventually overturned by the Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Achilleas Zisis.

As reported by the Popular Front, the militants were killed on the banks of the Evros River in Turkish territory, with the circumstances of their killing unclear. It is also reported that three days after the murder, their bodies have not been returned to their families. (info sourced and translated from HERE)

The Turkish state have reported that the comrades had entered Turkish-state territories near the Evros border of Greek-state territories with the intention of carrying out a martyrdom mission. According to the Turkish state there was a confrontation with Turkish soldiers at the Evros border that resulted in all four comrades being executed. They also claimed that the comrades were in possession of “vests containing bombs ready for detonation, each weighing 12 kilograms”. Greek state officials have said that there is no supporting evidence for this report.

Note from Abolition Media: In January of 2023, Abolition Media published a report about the liberation of the 11 revolutionaries from Turkey. After being arrested in 2020 and accused of membership in the DHKP-C, active in armed resistance to Erdogan in Turkey, they were initially sentenced to 333 years in prison before being released during the appeal trial in Athens.

4 Targets Attacked for Palestine: BRB Part 4

Four Offerings

Heartbroken, raging, yet tenderly hopeful, we began a series of actions across multiple Bay Area cities in unconditional solidarity with Palestine. We attacked four targets, one financial, one military, one corporate, and one tech:

1.) Under the surveillace of Transamerica building security across the street, we smashed the windows of HSBC for maintaining business relations with more than a dozen companies selling weapons and technology to the Israeli military.
2.) With personnel still inside, we smashed the windows of a US military recruitment office because the US is Israel’s primary source of military support.
3.) We smashed the windows of a Starbucks for their repression of pro-Palestine unionized workers.
4.) Sneaking past their security, we drenched 8 Cruise cars with red paint for being a subsidiary of General Motors, which has offices in Israel and is invested in Mobileye, an Isreali self-driving car surveillance technology company.

These attacks are also a continuation of our ongoing revenge for Banko Brown, in solidarity with Sean “Tucan” Monterrosa and Tortuguita, and in response to the call from Filipino/a/x comrades asking anarchists in the US to memorialize Jennifer “Ganda” Laude.
